look of the day 2/15/13

Hey everyone, so here is my look for the day. I have been really loving darker lips, they just add a nice pop. I hope you enjoy and please tell me what you think. I will list the products below.

 

Eyes: wet n wild drinking a glass if shine palette

Bronzer/Blush: elf cool bronzer/ covergirl snow plum

Lips: covergirl liner in sophisticated, rimmel kate lipstick in shade 11



Pre-Valentine

Hello everyone, so as promised here is the look that I wore today, i hope you enjoy it.
For the lips i used: covergirl lip liner in sophisticated, boots botanics lip liner in elderberry, and lastly a limited edition lip gloss by sonia kashuk called shrinking violet but any clear to a little purple lip gloss will work perfect. on the cheeks i used benefit hoola, on the eyes i used on the lids nyx loose pigment in pearl mania, in the crease the purple blue and brown from No7 beneath the morning skies palette, also i used the purple from wet n wilds drinking a glass of shine for the brows. so here is the look and i hope you enjoy:)

Update 02/13/13

Hey everybody, just a quick update. I am going to start up again with my daily posts but I am more going to focus on the things that I wear everyday. I more want to make this blog super fun and anything that I find interesting or cool I would love to share with you. I've made this decision because I was finding it extremely difficult to come up with a different look each and every day, meaning like a really crazy fun one as I would call it, I still will do those but I want it to be more sporatic like I would normally do with my makeup. I think it will just give you more insight into who I am and what I truly can create. Rimmel London: Lasting Finish Lipstick- Kate Moss Collection

Hello everyone, today I will be doing a review of the Rimmel Kate lipsticks. I have a total of four of them and these lipsticks are amazing. I wanted to do a review of these because sadly I really haven't seen any reviews of them. These lipsticks are nice and creamy without being overly creamy. Also I feel they last reasonably well for being a drugstore/ hightstreet brand. Here are the colors that I have and also swatches of them on my lips for you, I hope you enjoy and talk to you next time. :)

Wicked Liner

Hello everyone, today I will be bringing you this awesome liner, I was feeling totally inspired by the liner that Mary-Kate Olsen wore in the movie Beastly. She plays a witch and I was totally in love with the almost tattoo like piece she had around her eye. This inspired me to create this very graphic yet fun liner and I totally feel you could either wear it as is or even remove a few things and simplify it. Anyways here is the pic and I truly hope you enjoy.

Siren

Hello everybody, today I decided to do another artistic look. This look is inspired by a picture that my sister drew and she called it a siren. NYX Nude Matte Shadow

I am in love with my NYX Nude Matte Shadow's, they are so freaking amazing, I have many other eyeshadows but I find myself constantly reaching for these. The matte texture is amazing for any look you want to create. Great pigmentation. They also have many shades of browns from warmer colors to more cool grey tone colors. The work great for filling in eyebrows and are a perfect transitional color for the crease.
